Techniques You Will Use More Often

Y-Wing or XYZ-Wing: 121 puzzles (47%). A Y-Wing is a three-cell pattern that removes the digit the two outer cells share from every cell that sees both of them.
A uniqueness pattern, the unique rectangle or unique loop: 88 puzzles (34%). It uses the fact that a proper sudoku has only one solution.
A subset such as a hidden pair or a naked triple: 39 puzzles (15%).
A fish, the X-Wing or the Swordfish: 10 puzzles (4%).
